On the 24th of September I’ll be part of a Forum discussion organized by @ANSA in Brussels, focused on the forthcoming challenges connected with the implementation of the EU’s AI Act, following its recent approval.

Beyond the norm, which is essential, we need ongoing monitoring of the real-life effects such a piece of legislations will have on diverse citizens and communities across Europe.

Moreover, we need to complement the risk-based approach embedded in the AI Act with an ongoing assessment of AI able to identify un/intended consequences of its implementation, especially those technologies deemed of entailing low risks for people and society.
